1.  Trivia facts-10 minimum  Examples:  Top Song, Top Movie, Inventions, price of gas, minimum wage, etc.

2.  Four major events
Example:  If you were born in 2001, the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon would be a major event.  Each event will be written into a story format.  When writing the story, answer the following questions:

*When did the event take place

*Where did it take place

*What happened

*Why did it happen

*Who was involved

*How did it happen

 

Graphics Needed:  use your list of favorites, these items should "go together"
1.  numbers - year that you were born (cannot be animated)
2.  back arrow/button with the words "Back" (animation - yes/no It doesn't matter)
3.  bullet/button (animation - doesn't matter)
4.  background, must be textured and light colored
5.  horizontal line - (animation - doesn't matter)

Sources
Keep track of all books and web sites that you obtain information from.  There will be a separate web page containing this information.

Design:
  *When designing the web site, backgrounds, pictures, images, graphics can be added to enhance the site. 
   *Develop a theme to the web site:  common backgrounds, common font size and style. 
   *Every page should have a heading.

First page of Web Site:

The first page of the web site will contain the following information:

  1. Name of your web site and a banner of pictures.
  2. Introductory paragraph explaining the purpose of this site.
  3. Menu containing links.  The menu will be similar in design to the one created in Project 2.  There needs to be a graphic image as well as text for each menu item.  The image as well as the text will be linked to the appropriate web page.

 

Other Web Site Pages

1.  The four major stories will all be on the same page.  Use bookmarks to move from the menu to each story.  Provide a back/return button after a story is read.

2. The trivia will be on a page all by itself.

3. Sources will be on a page by itself.
