Public Service Announcement Requirements

Length:  35-45 seconds, production company will be added but is not part of the time

Titles/Text:
  optional, if you use make sure to follow the rules
Audio:  optional, if you use audio it must be good quality, not too fast, clear
Video:  optional, if you use must have a variety of video shots, steady, meaningful, original work.  You cannot just just one piece of video.
Pictures:  optional, if you use you must take your own pictures, cannot use from the internet, good quality, meaningful.  Exception:  a logo
Music:  optional, there is some music on the shared drive/PowerPoint folder that does not have lyrics.
Dialogue: optional
Voice Over: optional

It may help to pick a topic that you are familiar with or that you are passionate about.
If you would like a planning sheet you can get one from Shared > Multimedia > PSA > PSA Plan
You may check out a video camera and shoot video outside of class. Must have a topic before you can check out a camera.
You may check out a camera and take pictures outside of class.  Must have a topic before you can check out a camera.
You may use your own camera.  Make sure you know how to get the video off of the camera.  You can use a memory card from school if you need to.

Deadlines:
1.  Wed, April 30 - submit topic through email
2.  Tues, May 6 - video/pictures due in class, work on project
3.  Wed, May 7 - work on project, turn in
