Quotes using Excel

1.  Create a spreadsheet with the following margins for top, bottom, left and right:  .5"

2.  Change the column widths of A, C and E to 27.

3.  Change the column widths of B and D to 4.

4.  Change the heights of rows 1, 3, 5 and 7 to 160.

5.  Change the heights of rows 2, 4 and 6 to 18.

6.  Pick quotes to use from the list in the blue binder p 63-64.  You cannot use any other quotes.  You must pick from this list.  Type the quotes in the cells.  

7. The style, size and color of the font can vary.  No word art.
    a.  Make text large enough to fill cell.  Center horizontally and vertically.
    b.  Make text large enough to fill top half of cell and center horizontally.  Add a picture under text.
    c.  Make text large enough to fill bottom half of the cell and center horizontally.  Add a picture above text.

8.  You need 5 appropriate pictures.  Use clip art that comes with excel or clips on line.  Place pictures in appropriate places.  Wrap text where necessary.

9.  Center text appropriately for each quote.

10.  Every quote needs a border.  NO DEFAULT BORDER STYLES.  Pick different styles, colors, etc.  To create different borders, right click the cell>format cells>Border tab across the top>make border style selection.
