By the Numbers:  Create a video that tells a story using facts, statistics and pictures.  No voice over will be used.

Requirements:
1.  Must have a theme for your movie.  Example:  hunger, abuse, sports teams, a person, an event etc.
2.  Start by collecting 20 statistics/facts.  Try to find some interesting and amazing facts about your topic.  Remember to keep everything school appropriate.  If in doubt, don't use it.
3.  Title at the beginning.  The title is not "By The Numbers"
4.  Length:  1:30 minutes.  You may not be able to use all your facts.  Make sure you do not have any holes in the story you are telling.
5.  Production Company
6.  Music plays for entire project - instrumental only, no voice.  Log onto your YouTube channel, click on creator studio, click on create.

Consider the following.
1. Remember the rules regarding text.
2.  The order of the statistics/facts is important in telling your story.
3.  Make sure the length of the text is long enough to read.  You know what it says.  Your audience will be reading it for the first time and they will take longer to read than you think.   Script Timer
4.  Do not have too much text to read.  Cut it down, rephrase, rewrite to help with this.
5.  Animations on text can make it very difficult to read.
6.  You can put words on pictures, under pictures, etc. Words on pictures can be difficult to read - be careful with this.
7.  Spelling matters.
8.  Capital letters matter.
9.  Punctuation matters.
10.  Photos should not have watermarks.
11.  Sentences should be properly punctuated.
12.  Sentences begin with a capital letter.
13.  Numbers larger than 999 need commas.  For example 1,293 not 1293.  A year does not have a comma.
14.  Numbers indicating money need a $ in front of the number.  For example:  $10 not 10$ or 10 dollars.
15.  Do not use abbreviations.
16.  State the fact as a statement, not a question.
